From the darkness there came a natural light from the sky . The bat’s mood was being lifted up when he saw there  , up in the night sky , the beautiful moon.

It is peacefull at night , low volume traffic , makes the bat sleepy . Just when the bat was about to sleep an insect came along …..

Note the difference between a “photograph of a drawing” and a “drawing”

one “drawing”  has given birth to three separate “photograph of a drawing”  .

From up above the bat dangle watching the passing vehicles below him .

Note the difference between the “photograph of a drawing” and a “drawing”.

I used a badminton racket to create a halo shadow for the street lamp and tilt the angle of the camera so that there is a perspective view of the road.

I drew the road parallel in the drawing.

Blog story 6.1 ” Upside down “

From Blog story 1.0—>blog story 6.0

Well let’s set the scene with the bat flew out from a nearby forest and hangs upside down on a street lamp.

Note the difference between the medium of “photograph of a drawing” and a “drawing” . In photograph , I have added a real shadow which darken the areas of the paper giving the impression of light coming out from the street lamp in the drawing.

Blog story 6.0 : Reincarnated mammal : character design IV

Branch from blog story 1.0

The face of the bat has been redesigned , to reenforce the concept of “holes” , “exit doors” . The holes in the eyes and nose are made the same size and equal distance from each other .WP_20131001_003

Blog Story 1.0 : Character Design : Reincarnated Mammals

This is the first in a series of reincarnated mammals with a particular face  , the face of a soul being trapped inside it , trying to come out but could not . The soul is concentrated on the face where there are the most exits : eyes , nostrils , ears , mouth. It wants to go home . So it wait by the door waiting for an opportunity to sprint out !

The rest of the body  being vacant  becomes  stiff .
